Yogyakarta Bromo Ijen Tour Package 3 Days 2 Nights

Day 1: Borobudur – Prambanan Temple

On the first day it might be a little tiring, because we will visit 2 popular places in Yogyakarta, namely Borobudur Temple and Prambanan Temple. Our visit will start at 7.00 am from the Hotel in Yogyakarta. The trip to Borobudur Temple from the hotel will take approximately 1 hour’s journey. We will enter Borobudur Temple in the first session, namely at 8.30 am, with guidance from the local Borobudur Temple Guide.

The tour at Borobudur Temple will take approximately 90 minutes and we will finish at 10.00 am. After that, continue the trip to Prambanan Temple from Borobudur Temple which will take approximately 90 minutes. On the way you can rest in the car, sleep or look at the views of the surrounding countryside. When we arrive at Prambanan Temple, we will explore Prambanan Temple for approximately 90 minutes – 2 hours without a guide. You can hire a local Prambanan Temple guide in your language.

After the tour at Prambanan Temple is finished, we will continue our journey to Cemoro Lawang, where this place will be used to stop overnight to enjoy the beauty of Mount Bromo. On the way to Cemoro Lawang, we can stop at a toll road rest area to have lunch or rest. The trip from Yogyakarta to Cemoro Lawang takes approximately 6-7 hours and you can rest during the trip.

After arriving in Cemoro Lawang, you are welcome to check-in at the hotel, rest and wait for the trip to see the sunrise from Mount Bromo.

Day 2: Bromo Sunrise Tour – Journey to Licin (Ijen Area)

After enough rest, at 3.00 am the Bromo Jeep driver will pick you up at the hotel. The trip starts very early in the morning to be able to reach the sunrise viewing point on Bromo, namely Penanjakan. The sun will appear around 5-6 in the morning and we will enjoy its beauty with a view of the magnificent Mount Bromo.

After being satisfied with the beauty of the sunrise, we will continue hiking on Mount Bromo by climbing 250 steps to see the crater. If you don’t want to climb to the top of the mountain, then you can do other activities, namely visiting the desert of Mount Bromo by horseback, visiting Teletubbies Hill and many others.

The sunrise viewing tour at Mount Bromo will finish at 7-8 am and you must return to the hotel for breakfast and relax for a while. At around 11.00 am, we will check out of the hotel and continue our journey to Ijen. The journey from Bromo to Ijen will take approximately 6 hours so if you are still sleepy, you can rest during the journey or look at the surrounding natural scenery.

For hotels in Ijen, you can choose one in the Licin area which is close to Mount Ijen to make pick-up easier. After arriving at the Ijen area, you can immediately rest in preparation for overnight trekking on Mount Ijen and see the Blue Flame in the Ijen Crater.

Day 3: See Blue Flame at Mount Ijen Volcano

At 2 am in the morning, the Ijen Local Guide will pick you up to tour Mount Ijen Volcano. Ijen Crater is one of the largest acid lakes in the world and is worth visiting by tourists who come to Indonesia. Ijen Crater is located on the peak of Mount Ijen and produces large amounts of sulfur every day. Here we will invite you to enjoy the beauty of the turquoise blue of Asam Lake and its surroundings.

On your visit to the Ijen Crater, you will have to trek for approximately 2 hours. This may be tiring, but it will all be worth it with extraordinary views that are second to none in the world. If you don’t want to trek, you can hire a human taxi by paying around IDR 750,000 for one ride. The Ijen Crater Local Guide will provide all the information about Ijen Crater so that you better understand your visit.

Tour at Ijen Crater will finish at 8-9 am and return to the Hotel. After arriving at the hotel, you can take breakfast and take a shower. Check-our from the Hotel at 11 am and continue your journey to your Hotel in Bali, by passing the Ketapang-Gilimanuk crossing.
